Hey! Guess what??? The grass IS greener on the other side! Jump the fence now to a new way of living. Eating right and exercising makes you healthy and fit!!! Who knew???
If you have 30 minutes a day and a brain, you can get into the best shape and health of your life. This is not rocket science.
Ok, this has obviously not been my philosophy for the first 42 years of my life, and I'm not here to give you a hard time. I'm actually here to make it easy for you. I am here to give you facts. And hopefully some inspiration.
Getting fit is simple in theory. Eat right. Exercise. Every day. That's it. Your body will do the rest. It will transform before your eyes. Simple in theory, impossible for many. Impossible? Yes. If you don't eat right and exercise, it is impossible for you to be in the best shape of your life. I know. I tried that. I ate whatever I wanted to and refused to do anything remotely related to exercise. Add gravity and the aging process to that, and you can pretty much figure out that the extra 25 lbs. I was carrying around didn't put me into the 'fit' category.
So here's the thing. If you eat right and exercise, it is impossible for your body to stay in this unhealthy, unfit state. It can't happen. You may think you're the kind of person who just can't lose weight, but you're not. God designed your body to be fit and healthy so that you can enjoy life abundantly. Whether you choose to be fit is completely up to you. Just know that it is possible. All it takes is a decision and a daily commitment.
The decision: I will eat right and exercise.
The commitment: Every day. (Well, except for JUNK DAYS!)
That's it, really. Your body will take care of the rest. God designed it that way. Very cool.
